This piece is important to me for several reasons.
It began with someone close to me telling me about an art contest. They were involved in the contest, and were unhappy that there were so few entries.
“Hmm, I’m sorry to hear that,” I acknowledged, and went back about my day. I didn’t think muchn more about it, this person hadn’t asked for me to enter and I was rather busy with a day job that pulled me out of the house 12-13 hours per day.
